Gil Wagas of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu was crowned Mister International Philippines 2013 on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the FilOil-Flying V Arena in San Juan. He charmed the judges with his “Wagas Smile” and great physique, thus, besting 23 other gorgeous contestants from around the country.
He also won Best in Regional Costume, Mister Informatics and Mister Psalmstre special awards.
Mister International 2012 title holder Ali Hammoud from Lebanon is here in the country to promote Mister International Philippines pageant which will be held on June 21. The winner will be the country’s representative to Mister International 2013 which will be held in Indonesia later this year.

Last year, our local winner Marc John Gutoman failed to make it even to the Top 16 of the international pageant held in Bangkok. Let’s hope that the local judges this year will find someone who will be able to stand out even when put side by side with the contestants from around the world.
